Car In Dash DVD Players

I am looking to buy an in-dash touch screen for my Nissan 350z and need to know the dimensions for the middle dashboard console where GPS and DVD receivers are put.

I just got 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. The Rockford Fosgate system is nice, but i have a in-dash dvd player that i want to put in. What wire harness do i need in order to connect the dvd player while still be able to use the controls on the steering wheel and bluetooth? I dont need to use the stock amp cause i have a more powerful one and different subwoofers.

Ok i got this car stereo that has this usb plug in, and when i bought i asked the dude if my zune touch would work on it, he said yes every mp3 players will work when directly plugged in. But when i plugged it in the stereo read usb mistake. So being crafty i tried my usb memory stick that i back up every my music on and tug that in. So when I tried that and that worked! but not my zune how arrive? They have the same files and are the same formate? The stereo says "In-dash GPS Navigation AM/FM, CD, DVD, MP3, MPEG4 Player with wireless remote" Also its a BRAND NEW "EIGERVISION EV-4300N" its called if that helps. Please help me is there any way i can play my zune from this thing because thats what i bought it for!!!!

I have an in-dash car system that I bought from an online store. They shipped the GPS antenna with it. I've tried every possible thing I know to do and nothing is working so far! I am also very dumb with how GPS works and stuff Could someone please help me out?

If you could have any PRACTICAL car (not a ferrari or lamborghini etc.) regardless of price or anything else, what would you pick and what color would it be? Any special features included? Mine would be a silver Chevy Traverse with tinted windows, On star, and tv/dvd on the back of every seat! Oh and a GPS installed in the dash!

I have a manual transmission truck and it doesn't have a parking brake. So what is another easy switch to hook the wire up to? It is a 98 s10. I don't know if that will matter but hopefully someone has the answer. Thanks, Tony

Recently my computer has started to show red and blue dashes, dots or lines in a regular formation every over my screen, especially when playing a DVD. I have tried my monitor on another computer and it worked fine so is there a problem with my graphics card? I have an ATI Radeon X1300/X1500 and i rolled back the drivers to look if they were the problem. Nothing has changed and I cant find the up to date drivers to install. Would these make a difference? Or should I just buy a new graphics card? Any suggestions?!?

My aftermarket in-dash car dvd stereo won't power on after I installed it to my car but it has a standby power. Then I tried connect it directly to the car's battery it works just fine. every fuses checked. What could be the other problem?

Hi I've recently purchased a used 2000 chevy cavalier and I wanna upgrade my In-Dash stereo system to something more entertaining or simply up to date. Well the thing is I'm not sure of exactly what brand or type of in-dash Cd/Dvd Player to purchase because from what i've read and heard not every are compatible with every car because of size and wiring. Looking for something below 50 bucks that is 160-250gb and is powered and connected by the USB Cable. No power supply just the Same USB Cable you use to hook it up to a device. I have a KW-AVX800 In-Dash DVD Player in my truck and want something that will plug into it sufficiently and work without software needed since its a Stereo. I am looking for an affordable radio for my first car (1991 Toyota Camry). I don't really want to pay over $150 for one though. I am looking for one that is XM compatible, has an AUX plug, and a CD player (though the CD player isn't a MUST). I've already found one that seems perfect, however there is one issue. I'm not sure if it has an XM info button on it? My parent's car has XM built in, and it has an Info button that displays the tune and artist. I adore this button. I followed this guide at http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-softmod-your-xbox...for-FREE/ but i think the files were old and the ones i downloaded were updated so it didn't work as the tut showed. So i came up to xboxhdm screen and just did a create new hd and and it overwrought my C:\ and E:\(not 100% sure it was E:\). Anyway its now modded but i cant go to ms dash, receive mistake xboxdash.ebx not found or something, then i cheeked the C:\ in file manager and its empty? so is there anyway i can download it and receive it on there, i cant receive my dvd steer to read burned cd-r or rw, haven't tried dvd-r or rw, so the only way i think i could do it is to ftp but i dont have a crossover cord and i dont have an extra Ethernet one to splice and make my possess. I did some looking into the dvd steer not reading them and it seams im a need one from a 1.6 model so idk. Please if you can give me a hand and help me out i would realy appreciate it. My question is, when i look them up on websites such as ebay and bestbuy.com, it seems to be a one size fits every product. I don't receive it, when you buy a 1,100 dollar system from best buy how do you make it fit YOUR specific car? Specifically, my 2007 fusion? Thanks

I was in a car accident and totalled my 1995 honda civic ex. I did a ton of performance and style upgrades to it and now I am considering it a donor vehicle. I have a rebuilt d16z6 (stock rebuild) with 440 injectors, garret turbo, custom ecu, 3 inch exhaust piping, new high performance clutch, front mount intercooler(damaged), greedy BoV,and a few other mods dynoed at 180whp. I also have 17inch wheels tires, in dash dvd player every new speakers amp, cap, 2 12inch subs, and equalizer. I also have 2 bride racing seats. Gauges, short shifter, navagation and a few odds and ends. I spent 4 years working on the car and it hurts to look it wrecked (and no I don't road race hit by a drunk driver) any way I want to know what kinda off project car should I ger next? Mines was originally a ex coupe. But I'm stuck at either getting a crx hatch, civic hatch or another coupe. I like the idea of the crx but don't know if everything is interchangable. Also should I receive a rolling chassis? I like performance but my idea is a weekend warrior type of car so I prefer some luxary to it. Also please no haters blah blah blah honda sucks is better I'm wasting money believe me my money wouldn't have been put to greater us then pursing a passion for cars. I could've spent it on drugs lol

I have 03 expedition with a 200 amp high output alternator, big 3 upgrade using 0 gauge wiring, a hifonics brutus bxi 26100, and a pioneer avhp3100 dvd in-dash. I am currently have 2 15" alpine type r's hooked up but I am ready to upgrade. I am stuck between going to 2 15" kicker L7 solobarics or a single 18" BTL from Fi audio. I wanted to receive some outside opinions as to what I should purchase. Please include why you picked your choice of the two. small gas generator help? I want to buy a tiny gas generator that can power an xbox 360 [i believe it utilizes 170 watts or something close] I have a in dash dvd player in my car...pretty much going to use it for a job site,I don't need anything fancy or powerful to power a refrigerator or anything,but I have no idea on what to look for..I did some searching and everything was around $1000 way out of my price range...any help?

Preferred video source: Lenovo T41 laptop. One video-out port and it's S-Video. The port has the marking of a capital S and an em-dash inside the outline of a TV tube face to the upper left of it. Preferred video 'destination': 17" CRT monitor. One input, and it's flush-wired (S)VGA, described here as 15 pins in a rhomboid pattern inside a vaguely rectangular metal shield/square. I've read on other forums that cables that claim to convert don't, or do so poorly. I've seen converter boxes, something on the order of RF boxes for analog TVs (to adapt them for DVD players, XBoxes and the like), for anywhere from $20 to $200. My question is: are the cheaper converter boxes worth the money, or should I hold off until I can receive a pricier, name-brand one? BZT

I have a 1998 Ford Mustang, which originally had a radio and a separate cd player. I installed a new stereo, but there's still a gaping hole in my dash from the cd player. I want to put some nice of plastic to cover the hole and put switches on. Would a dvd case work, or should I use something else?

Hey, everyone I'm from NY however i saw a Subaru STI 2006 33k miles but its out of state, however its 3hrs away steer, the car is asking for like 23k around average for every dealership which is around 25k, book values are around 26-27k. However this car has been modded it seems just cosmetically like (rims, intake, exhaust, intercooler, hood, in dash dvd, and a Blow off valve) - I'm not sure if it has an aftermarket turbo, so i was just wondering if i should bother to go down there tomorow morning and make the 6hr round trip to go look it?? I mean in my opinion i was thinking if its just cosmetically wise, it'll be ok, if engine performance has not been tampered with, but with an intercooler front mounter im assuming that it has to be an aftermarket turbo, but its low miles. Also the car is 33k miles but the carfax shows 3owners. 1st owner- had it for 2years it showed and like 8,000miles(babied), and 2nd owner- it didn't show that it was purchased so i'm assuming it was sold on the side to maybe his pal or something but it showed 16,000 for 2nd owner in 3months so im thinking he drove alot. 3rd owner- updated title with 17,000miles when he got it, and now its being sold with 33k miles. So i was wondering if its worth going to look this car with its aftermarket, weird milage, and is there anything about Pennsylvania that i should know about, i heard a couple years ago there was flooding, but PA is mostly highways, so im pretty sure its every highways and should i worry about it?!? What do you guys think?!?

HI guys.... I have recently purchased KVT 739 head unit and am disappointed to know that the unit is not reading the video files that I am putting in the flash steer..... I have tried divx, mpg, mp4, mpeg, avi....... it is only reading mp3 files from the flash steer...however if I put these video files in a DVD the unit is reading them. I am just keen enough to know that is there something wrong with my headunit or it is like that only. Kindly help as the dealer from whom I got is himself confused.

I have hundreds of music videos in MP4 format. I want to receive an in dash dvd player in my car and play the music videos like I am playing a CD so that i can shuffle the videos like tracks on a cd. Most good dvd player brands for cars do not play the mp4 format, they play dvd or divx and then serval audio formats. How do I burn a dvd of music videos that I can play in my car that has tracks? (remember, theyre in MP4 format)

I recently purchased a used steer a 2004 Chrysler Town and Country Limited. It has a built in navigation system/head unit. The system works great, but there is one problem; the navigation system does not have where I live, and many other addresses. Is there a way for me to upgrade my DVD? I cannot use a dash mounted Garmin, because they are against the in my town.

My screen is blue always. The radio is the only thing that works. The screen is blue in this mode also, can't look to change the station or anything. CD's, DVD's, nor the USB won't read. I can't even receive to the main menu. What do I do?

hi iv Always wondered do girls really care about what type of car you steer. me i got two cars i got my daily driver 2004 Ford Freestar mini van (with 2006 mustang wheels, in dash dvd, 2 12' sony explodes, H.I.D head lights, and a I adore HOOTERS bumper sticker) and a 1986 Ford Mustang GT Cobra which is every stock except the (full msd ignition, icy air intake, and weld middle force rims) the only reason i possess a mini van as my daily driver is because im 20 and its really cheap on insurances ($100 a month) vs 300 for a focus or torus or anything. is this affecting the way girls think of me or does it matter. both cars are in beautiful shape no rust well taken care of. im a mechanic so i cant stand driving a car that is in bad shape.

I have a 2006 Dodge Charger and tomorrow I am planning to buy a 15" flip down monitor and 7" flip out dvd in dash. I am very familiar with audio installing, installed my radio and my subs and amp install myself. The only issue I might have is mounting the flip down screen onto my headliner. The guy at the store said one good way is to take the headliner half way down and inserting a piece of plywood maybe 1/4 inch thick just to give it good support to mount it. I was thinking if that might be too heavy and damage my headliner but he said it would be no problem. Also I know the in dash have a clip off ground to prevent the screen from working while driving, I am familiar with the local laws but I am willing to take that chance every now and then. Many people have said that every you have to do is connect the parking brake ground to any other ground. If someone can please help me out with these issues, I would really appreciate it.

Between these 2 im not interested in any others i like the price of these there 230.00 dont need to spend 500.00 for something thats only for audio in my car.
