Hello, I've research a way to solve my problem but right here is my last resort. I recently bought and installed this stereo by a technician. it works fine but still has other issues. One issue is that, my car is park and when I insert a DVD or hook up my mp3 to the audio jack, the screen displays as "disabled while driving". I can still hear the music or the dvd it plays, but theres no pics, just that message. Please, if anyone of you know how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated. 1000000 kodus for you every! yes, i have tried it when my vehicle is off and on while the parking brake is up. We are not getting sound. The screen in the overhead console looks original, I am not sure if the screen in the passenger visor is original and the DVD player in the dash is after market. It is a Planet Audio DVD/TV Tuner. The stereo is the original 6 disc Bose system. The manual stated that when the DVD is playing the stereo should have a DVD symbol appear and if I push the CD/Aux button then the sound should arrive through stereo. That is not happening, there is no DVD symbol appearing. I even tried tuning to AM stations. Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible to receive the sound to play through stereo or do I have to receive head-sets? Also, we are also not picking up TV stations. Do you have any advice?

I have an HP Pavillion Dv2000. I had to reinstall windows, so its now formatted. There is nothing but windows on the laptop. I want to reinstall every the sowtware that it orginally came with, every the hps drivers. I have two discs, one says "recovery dvd 1 of 2" then the other one says "recovery disc 2 of 2." I have put both of them in the cd steer and restart the laptop and it just goes to a black blank screen with a blinking dash in the top left corner. It stays like that, until i take the cd out and it then loads normally. How can I reload every the HP software that came with the laptop orginally? I am using Windows Vista.

I just bought and had a Soundstream VIR-7022nr instanlled but the place that did it would only hook up the wire for the dvd to the ebrake so the ebrake would have to be on to watch dvds so you couldn't watch them while driving so they just left the wire hanging...It is only one wire and i need to know what do i do with it to make it so i can steer and watch dvds at the same time?

Ok so i turned 17 and am getting ready to buy a car, and ive narrowed it down to 2 choices. Here are the some info on both cars: 300zx: 1991 FairladyZ, Right side steer, non turbo, Short shift, New injectors, icy air intake. JBL Audio speakers sub and amp. Double din navigation DVD player. every the carpet has been removed and the dash and doors are done in blue/black vinyl. Here is the Civic :1.6L sohc vtec engine, . Compustar 2way alarm and starter. Full sound system, custom sub enclosure in the trunk(subs and amp not included). Full exhaust, dc sports headers, magnaflow cat back exhuast. Full intake, AEM short ram air intake with k&n cone filter, skunk2 intake manifold. Halo blacked out head lights. Blacked out tail lights. Blacked out emblems on trunk. Full black tint. Sir wing. M3 side mirrors. Fully adjustable coilovers(currently lowered 2"). Skunk2 lower control arms. Sway bars on top and bottem They both have reasonable milage and seem to be in good shape. I was looking for detailed answers on both cars, which is better in performance, reliabilty, and any other info you can think of. It's a brand new, 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited. The DVD/CD player is part of the Nav option. DVD player will not work with key in ignition so can't run car while DVD is playing. Would have been a better idea if player wouldn't work if transmission was put into gear....at least one could run engine keeping battery charged.
